eh, alright, not 'thebest', that position still belongs to the Nsync concert in 2000, but it was AWESOME.
Fall Out Boy, Folie a Deux, Believers Never Die tour.
with All Time Low.
Cobra Starship.
50 Cent. which was a super big shocker. i mean, really?
and Hey Monday.
...
Yeah, we got there right as Hey Monday was finishing their set but I didn't know them in the first place so... >>
not too much of a loss.
It was hilarious though that i parked RIGHT. ACROSS. from my friend that was going as well. And i hadn't talked to her for months nor even knew she was coming.
it was destiny that we met then. frsrs.
All Time Low.
uh, yeah, they're not my favourite. But i am happy with their set.
they did a good job.
COBRA STARSHIP WAS BADASS. HOLYFUCKINGSHIT.
and 50 was really on that stage for way too long.
i didn't understand it at all. especially for a sudden surprise act.
the type of people that went to the concert aren't really there to listen to rappers.
it was seriously a 'wait.what?' moment when i learned he was joining the tour.
but it was real fun watching this tall, lanky, nerdy guy really getting into it two rows down. xD
he was worth it.
FOB. amazing. yes. awesome.
even my boyfriend was singing along with a few songs, though he was pretty much dragged along against his own free will. xD
he secretly enjoyed it. i know it. >>
i didn't really completely enjoy their bleedingheartantipolitical twist they gave all their songs though.
well, at least, Pete had to give most of the songs in the first half of their performance some serious background story.
and yeah, i appreciate their care and attempt to make more people aware but...
i go to a concert to listen and enjoy music, not to be lectured about what else is going on in the world. most of the time, i use music to get /away/ from the world.
besides, you can get the hinted serious tone behind their music and lyrics already without getting commentary beforehand.
besides that, it was completely awesome.
i took video and a few pictures though i have no idea how it all turned out yet.
it was still an early outing for the camera, i hadn't gotten used to it yet.
but hopefully at least the sound quality's good enough to well make out what's going on.
there was this... fourteen year old girl sitting behind us that had the highest shriek i have ever heard.
there was no need for her to be that loud. she surely couldn't even hear anything over that.
if i'm able to figure it all out, i'll post up video later.
there is no update for the tablet situation though.
currently doing traditional stuff...
i've really been missing that ctrl+z function though. xD
